It can also be used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition in which acid is released from the stomach. This condition causes excessive and watery stomach acid that can lead to symptoms such as persistent heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and frequent vomit. Esketry can also be used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome in which the liver is not producing enough acid to heal the disease.
